Leeann Hynes has been an artist since picking up her first crayon. From an early age,she honed her creative talents, entering and winning art and coloring contests across her hometown. This passion for thearts led Leeann to study fine art at East Carolina University, where she developed her skills. 

After graduation, Leeann put her artistic abilities to work, spending many years working for a jewelry designer in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her entrepreneurial spirit later shone through when she co-founded The Handmade Market, a hugely successful biannual event that showcased the work of talented designers from near and far. In 2009, Leeann's dream of opening her own brick-and-mortar shop, Epona & Oak, came to fruition alongside her two sisters. 

Though the daily demands of running a business eventually took their toll, Leeann's first love has always been painting. Now, after years of different experiences, she finds herself back at the beginning, reconnecting with the joy of putting brush to canvas. Leeann welcomes visitors to explore her site and get in touch about her art and floral creations.
